Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for recovering cerium abrasives, which can obtain high-purity recycled polishing material, from polishing material slurry containing used cerium abrasives.SOLUTION: A method for recovering cerium abrasives comprises a slurry recovery step of recovering polishing material slurry A containing used cerium abrasives, a separation step of separating the recovered polishing material slurry A into a dispersion medium B containing cerium abrasives and a supernatant liquid C by adding an inorganic salt containing metal elements that can be divalent or trivalent cations to the recovered polishing material slurry A to coagulate the cerium abrasives, and an extraction step of extracting the cerium abrasives from the dispersion medium B containing the separated cerium abrasives by using a low polarity dispersion medium.
【課題】本発明の課題は、使用済みのセリウム砥粒を含有する研磨材スラリーから高純度の再生研磨材を得ることができるセリウム砥粒の回収方法を提供することである。【解決手段】本発明のセリウム砥粒の回収方法は、使用済みのセリウム砥粒を含有する研磨材スラリーAを回収するスラリー回収工程と、回収された研磨材スラリーAに対し、2価又は3価の陽イオンとなる金属元素を含有する無機塩を添加してセリウム砥粒を凝集させ、セリウム砥粒を含有する分散媒Bと上澄み液Cに分離させる分離工程と、分離されたセリウム砥粒を含有する分散媒Bからセリウム砥粒を極性の低い分散媒を用いて抽出する抽出工程と、を有することを特徴とする。【選択図】図1 |
