Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal panel capable of reducing an atmospheric pressure load on a seal member included in a seal portion to secure sealability and reducing an uneven gap between substrates, and a manufacturing method of the liquid crystal panel.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal panel 11 includes: a pair of substrates 12, 13 arranged facing one another; a liquid crystal layer 15 interposed between the substrates 12, 13; a seal portion 14 formed by curing a fluid seal member 18 and bonding the substrates 12 and 13 on a position away from an outer edge while surrounding the liquid crystal layer 15. The liquid crystal panel 11 further includes: a main spacer 30 interposed between the substrates 12, 13 in a position of the liquid crystal layer 15, and maintaining a gap between the substrates 12, 13; and an auxiliary spacer 31 interposed between the substrates 12, 13 while being in contact with an entire outer portion of the seal portion 14, and maintaining the gap between the substrates 12, 13. 【課題】シール部を構成するシール部材への大気圧負荷を低減してシール性を確保できるとともに基板間の間隙のむらを低減できる液晶パネル及びその製造方法を提供する。【解決手段】液晶パネル11は、互いに対向配置された対をなす基板12,13を有する。液晶パネル11は、基板12,13間に介在された液晶層15を有する。液晶パネル11は、流体状のシール部材18を硬化して形成され、液晶層15の周囲を囲んで基板12,13を外縁から離間された位置で貼り合わせるシール部14を有する。液晶パネル11は、液晶層15の位置で基板12,13間に介在され、基板12,13間の間隙を保持する主スペーサ30を有する。液晶パネル11は、シール部14の外側部全体と接して基板12,13間に介在され、基板12,13間の間隙を保持する補助スペーサ31を有する。【選択図】図1
