Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device which makes color fading of a wavelength selection absorption member less likely to occur and makes an appearance color of the wavelength selection absorption member less likely to be visually recognized.SOLUTION: A lighting device 1 includes: a light source 110 formed by a solid light-emitting element; a translucent light distribution control member 120 which has a light incident part 121 having an incidence surface 121a into which light emitted from the light source 110 enters, the light distribution control member 120 which controls light distribution of the light entering into the light incident part 121; and a wavelength selection absorption member 130 which selectively absorbs a specific wavelength in a visible light range. The wavelength selection absorption member 130 is provided at a portion of the light incident part 121 which excludes the incidence surface 121a. 【課題】波長選択吸収部材の退色が起こりにくく、かつ、波長選択吸収部材の外観色が視認されにくい照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】照明装置1は、固体発光素子によって構成された光源110と、光源110から出射する光が入射する入射面121aを有する光入射部121を有し、当該光入射部121に入射した光の配光を制御する透光性の配光制御部材120と、可視光域の特定波長を選択吸収する波長選択吸収部材130とを備え、波長選択吸収部材130は、光入射部121における入射面121a以外の部分に設けられている。【選択図】図3
