Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera module capable of minimizing power consumption and a tilt phenomenon of a lens barrel by removing a preload part, improving reliability of drive, and reducing self-vibration during drive of the lens barrel by bonding a damping member.SOLUTION: A camera module comprises: a lens barrel 110 incorporating a lens; a housing 120 with an accommodation space accommodating the lens barrel 110; a drive part 130 composed of a magnet 132 and a coil 134 and configured to provide first driving force for driving the lens barrel 110 upward by electromagnetic force generated by the magnet 132 and the coil 134, and second driving force for driving the lens barrel 110 downward; a guide ball 140 provided between the lens barrel 110 and the housing 120 and configured to guide movement of the lens barrel 110; and a position detecting part 150 configured to detect a position of the lens barrel 110.
