Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shake correction device that enables a quick operation and stoppage upon performing a shake correction without enlarging a size of a magnet or each coil.SOLUTION: A shake correction unit 1 has: a movable body 4 that holds a third lens group 113; a magnet 11 that is attached to the movable body 4; a stationary barrel 2 that supports the movable body 4 movably in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis O of the third lens group 113; a first coil 13 that proximately faces an image pickup element side of the magnet 11, and is attached to a frame 21 of the stationary barrel 2; and a second coil 15 that proximately faces an opposite side of the magnet 11, and is attached to a shutter unit 6. One surface of the magnet 11 faces the first coil 13, and the other surface thereof faces the second coil 15, and the movable body 4 moves by excitation force which both surfaces of the magnet 11 affect from the first and second coils 13 and 15, respectively.
