Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shake correction device that enables a quick operation and stoppage upon performing a shake correction without enlarging a size of a magnet or each coil.SOLUTION: A shake correction unit 1 has: a movable body 4 that holds a third lens group 113; a magnet 11 that is attached to the movable body 4; a stationary barrel 2 that supports the movable body 4 movably in a direction orthogonal to an optical axis O of the third lens group 113; a first coil 13 that proximately faces an image pickup element side of the magnet 11, and is attached to a frame 21 of the stationary barrel 2; and a second coil 15 that proximately faces an opposite side of the magnet 11, and is attached to a shutter unit 6. One surface of the magnet 11 faces the first coil 13, and the other surface thereof faces the second coil 15, and the movable body 4 moves by excitation force which both surfaces of the magnet 11 affect from the first and second coils 13 and 15, respectively. 【課題】磁石や各コイルのサイズを大きくしなくてもブレ補正の際に急激な作動及び停止ができるブレ補正装置を提供する。【解決手段】ブレ補正ユニット1は、第3のレンズ群113を保持した可動体4と、この可動体4に取り付けられた磁石11と、可動体4を第3のレンズ群113の光軸Oと直交する方向に移動可能に支持した固定筒2と、磁石11の撮像素子側に近接対向して固定筒2のフレーム21に取り付けられた第1コイル13と、磁石11の反対側に近接対向してシャッターユニット6に取り付けられた第2コイル15と、を有する。磁石11は、一方の面が第1コイル13に対向して他方の面が第2コイル15に対向し、可動体4は、磁石11の両面が第1及び第2コイル13、15の各々から受ける励磁力によって移動する。【選択図】図12
