Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly reliable photocell becoming an energy source using extreme ultraviolet light, and applicable sufficiently even to a use environment requiring mobility with a simple device configuration.SOLUTION: A photocell includes a photocathode 11 irradiated with EUV light and emitting photoelectrons, an anode 12 for capturing the photoelectrons emitted from the photocathode 11, and a capacitor 13 connected between the photocathode 11 and anode 12, and in which charges are stored by a photocurrent thus generated.
