Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flat tube heat exchanger, an air conditioner outdoor unit including the same, and a method of manufacturing a flat tube heat exchanger capable of arranging flat tubes in a staggered fashion and aligning upper end lower end portions of fins without the need to manufacture two types of metal molds for forming the fins.SOLUTION: A fin is formed so that, if a length from one end of the fin to a notch proximate to the end is first length and a length from the other end thereof to a notch proximate to the other end is a second length, the first length differs from the second length. The notches are formed so that a sum of the first length and the second length is equal to a length of a pitch of the notches. A heat exchanger in one sequence of adjacent sequences is arranged so that one end of each fin is located downward whereas a heat exchanger of the other sequence out of the adjacent sequences is arranged so that the other end of each fin is located downward. 【課題】フィンを形成する金型を2種類製造することなく、扁平管を千鳥配列とすること、及びフィンの上下の端部側を揃えることを実現する扁平管熱交換器及びそれを備えた空気調和装置の室外機、扁平管熱交換器を提供することを目的としている。【解決手段】フィンには、フィンの一端から一端に近接する切欠までの長さを第1の長さとし、フィンの他端から他端に近接する切欠までの長さを第2の長さとしたとき、第1の長さと第2の長さとが異なるように形成するとともに、第1の長さと第2の長さを合わせた長さが切欠のピッチの長さとなるように切欠が形成され、隣接する列の一方の熱交換部は、フィンの一端が下側にくるように配置され、隣接する列の他方の熱交換部は、フィンの他端が下側にくるように配置されているものである。【選択図】図6
