Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rubber composition for a bead apex, in which high mileage property, fracture strength and heat ageing resistance are improved in a good balance while excellent processability is achieved, and to provide a pneumatic tire manufactured by using the rubber composition.SOLUTION: The rubber composition for a bead apex comprises: a modified natural rubber that is highly purified and adjusted to a pH of 2 to 7; and carbon black and/or a white filler. 【課題】優れた加工性を得つつ、低燃費性、破断強度及び耐熱老化性をバランス良く改善したビードエイペックス用ゴム組成物及び該ゴム組成物を用いて作製した空気入りタイヤを提供する。【解決手段】高純度化され、かつpHが2〜7に調整された改質天然ゴムと、カーボンブラック及び/又は白色充填剤とを含むビードエイペックス用ゴム組成物に関する。【選択図】なし
