Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a glass plate for chamfering a corner of an end face of a glass plate that suppresses microcracks on the end face of the glass plate and suppresses cracks and deformation of the glass plate.SOLUTION: A manufacturing method of a glass plate is a method for chamfering a corner 93 of an end face 92 of a glass plate 90 and includes a corner heating step and a corner removing step. In the corner heating step, the corner 93 is locally heated to at least the glass transition temperature. In the corner removing step, the corner 93 heated in the corner heating step is cooled and removed from the glass plate 90.
【課題】本発明の目的は、ガラス板の端面の角部を面取りする方法であって、ガラス板の端面のマイクロクラックの発生を抑制し、かつ、ガラス板の割れおよび変形を抑制することができるガラス板の製造方法を提供することである。【解決手段】ガラス板の製造方法は、ガラス板90の端面92の角部93を面取りする方法であって、角部加熱工程と、角部剥離工程とを有する。角部加熱工程は、角部93の温度を少なくともガラス転移点まで上げて、角部93を局所的に加熱する。角部剥離工程は、角部加熱工程において加熱された角部93を冷却して、ガラス板90から角部93を剥離させる。【選択図】図5 |
