Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for a portable terminal capable of facilitating the amplification output of reproduction sound to be emitted from a speaker of the portable terminal while suppressing the increase of the number of components by using the portable terminal.SOLUTION: A cover 10 for a portable terminal includes a cover body 11 and a swelling part 40. The cover body has a first recession 31 and is attached to the portable terminal when the cover for the portable terminal is mounted on the portable terminal 1, to thereby constitute an acoustic route 50 in cooperation with the portable terminal that clogs a part of the first recession. The swelling part has an opening 41 and a second recession 42 and constitutes a sound emission port 51 that communicates with the acoustic route by using the opening and the second recession. The first recession of the cover body has a sound input part 33 and a communication part 34. The communication part includes a horn shape part 36 whose cross sectional area is enlarged from a sound input part side toward a second recession side, and allows the sound input part and the second recession to communicate each other via the horn shape part.
