Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an editing input to a plurality of editing object images by a user interface free of a feeling of physical disorder without making any special choice for specifying an editing object.SOLUTION: A photographic image edition system includes an input determination part which determines whether input information of a pointing device to a monitor for editing is an editing input indicating execution of an editing process or an enlargement object selection input. The input determination part is so set as to permit the editing input to at least one thumbnail image group and to permit the enlargement object selection input to a thumbnail image group different from the thumbnail image group for which the editing input is permitted, and determines whether to permit the editing input indicating the execution of the editing process and whether to permit the enlargement object selection input for selecting a thumbnail image to be enlarged and displayed.
