PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide polycarbonate diol capable of obtaining an aqueous polyurethane dispersion easy in transportation and preservation in summer and having excellent long term dispersion stability even if not being filtered.SOLUTION: Provided is polycarbonate diol having a repeating unit represented by equation (1) and a terminal hydroxy group. The polycarbonate diol comprises a specified diol component by a specified amount, and a primary terminal OH ratio lies in a specified range. 【課題】 夏季の輸送や保管が容易で、ろ過しなくとも長期分散安定性に優れた水性ポリウレタン分散体を得ることができるポリカーボネートジオールを提供すること。【解決手段】 下記式（１）で表される繰り返し単位と、末端水酸基を含むポリカーボネートジオールであって、特定のジオール成分を特定量含有し、１級末端ＯＨ比率が特定範囲のポリカーボネートジオールとする。【選択図】 なし
