Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barrier opening/closing device capable of positively solving the opening/closing operation failure factor of lens barrier means due to the biting of an obstacle such as sand.SOLUTION: The barrier opening/closing device includes: a barrier member 21 configured to move to open/close a front surface of a photographic lens 12; a motor 23 configured to drive the barrier member to open/close; a switch member 33 configured to monitor an opening/closing position of the barrier member; and a control part configured to drive the motor 23, and to drive the barrier member 21 from an opening position to a closing direction or from a closing position to an opening direction, and to, when it is determined that an obstacle exists on a movement locus between the opening position and closing position of the barrier member 21, and that the movement of the barrier member 21 is blocked by the switch member 33, allow the motor 23 to drive the barrier member 21 again by using a drive voltage which is higher than the drive voltage driven prior to determination. |
