Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an appropriate buffer size for a termination node such that delays are few and frame omissions do not occur easily.SOLUTION: A network system comprises a node management device 10 and a plurality of notes including relay nodes 20-24 and termination nodes 30-32. Each of the nodes measures an inter-node delay time of a frame, and an intra-node delay time of the frame. The node management device 10 sets, for a path between the termination nodes, a fluctuation width of the delay time based on a standard deviation in the inter-node delay time of the frame and a standard deviation in the intra-node delay time of the frame measured between the termination nodes by each node, and calculates buffer sizes of the termination nodes corresponding to the fluctuation width of the delay time. |
