PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transport device and a recording device capable of highly accurately correcting curling of a medium.SOLUTION: A transport device 24 includes: a medium holding unit that holds a sheet S having a first surface S1 and a second surface S2 that is a back surface relative to the first surface S1 in a state of a roll body R obtained by winding the sheet S into a cylindrical shape and forming an inner circumference R1 from the second surface S2; a curved and fixed path formation unit 55 guiding the sheet S so that the second surface S2 is inside of a curve; and a driven roller 28b provided downstream of the path formation unit 55 in a transport direction of transporting the sheet S, and deforming the second surface S2 of the sheet S so that the second surface S2 is outside of the curve by putting the sheet S between a transport roller 28a and the driven roller 28b.
