Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attach a cylindrical stretch label to a container while suppressing wrinkling of the seal part of the label.SOLUTION: An apparatus for producing a labeled container attaches a flexible cylindrical label L to the outer peripheral surface of a bottle B by engagement, with the to-be-attached cylindrical label L in such a state as to be diameter-expanded by two or more diameter expansion claws inserted into the inside of the cylindrical label L and expanded in length in the circumferential direction. The cylindrical label L has a seal part S formed by superimposing and adhering together end parts of a film substrate to form a seal part extending in the axial direction of the cylindrical label L, and, at least one specified diameter expansion claw 54A, among the diameter expansion claws, expands the diameter of the cylindrical label L in such a state as to be in contact with the inside surface area of the seal part S.
