Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an opening of a flexible container containing developer from being separated due to unexpected power applied to a joint part between the opening and a sealing member which seals the opening.SOLUTION: A developer storage unit 25 includes a developer bag 16, a sealing member 19, a joining part 22 for joining the developer bag 16 with the sealing member 19, an opening member 20, and a storage container 30. The joint part 22 includes a first joining part 22a extending upstream around the opening 35a in a longitudinal direction, a second joint part 22b extending downstream around the opening 35a in the longitudinal direction, and a third joint part 22e joining upstream of the first joint part 22a in a separation direction of the sealing member 19.
