Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window structure unit capable of ensuring a landscape perspective from an indoor space during the day and preventing peeking from outside regardless of the time of day or night.SOLUTION: A window structure unit has a translucent planar illuminant with a half mirror layer inside. Glass plate bodies are placed on the inside and the outside of the planar illuminant. The planar illuminant comprises a translucent resin plate, a light-emitting device placed at an end face of the resin plate and a light diffusion layer placed on a surface of the translucent resin plate. Light of the light-emitting device enters from the end face of the resin plate and diffuses on the light diffusion layer, which allows the planar illuminant to emit light.
