PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle capable of being attached to an appropriate position even when kinds of vehicles are different.SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle includes: an image generating section (50) which generates image light from an image signal of an image to be displayed and projects the generated image signal; a combiner (400) which is attached to the image generating section and on which the image is projected; a plate-shaped attachment plate (710) for attaching the image generating section to a vehicle; and a pair of holding sections (720, 730 and 740) to which the attachment plate is connected and which are attached to a room mirror so as to hold the room mirror of the vehicle. The attachment plate has an abutting portion (715) which abuts on the room mirror so as to specify a positional relation between the image generating section and the room mirror.
