Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor in which an inter-axis distance between a sensor gear of an angle sensor and a gear in a gear train of driving system meshed with the sensor gear is kept stably with a high accuracy.SOLUTION: There is provided a geared motor having a gear train of driving system and an angle sensor which are stored in a case comprised of a cover 10, an upper housing 30 and a lower housing 70. In the geared motor, a sensor gear 137 of the angle sensor has its shaft 138b supported at a supporting boss 53 in the third region S3 of an upper surface of the upper housing 30, and a fourth gear 109 in the gear train of the driving system and meshed with an output shaft is supported at a supporting boss 64 in the first region S1 of the upper surface and meshed with the sensor gear 137 while being exposed from a cut-out window at a step between both regions. The inter-axis distance is kept with high accuracy since the sensor gear 137 and the fourth gear 109 are supported at the same upper housing 30, resulting in that a rotating angle of the output shaft sensed by the angle sensor can be accurately attained.
