Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a series of technology relevant to calcium transportation mediated by SERCA2.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for screening a substance that controls the calcium pump function of SERCA2, where the screening is carried out by using the ability of the test substance to increase or decrease the expression level or the reduction activity of ERdj5 as an index. Also provided is a screening method for inhibitors of melanin pigment synthesis where the screening is carried out by using the above screening method for SERCA2 calcium pump controlling agent. Also provided are vectors and cells suitable for the screening method. |
