Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable diagnosis device capable of performing a fault diagnosis of a plurality of places of the network in a T type termination end equivalent circuit using a wired cable.SOLUTION: A cable diagnosis device 11 of a cable which is terminated at a T type termination end equivalent circuit of three impedance elements includes: an impedance table storage unit 14 for storing an impedance list in which convergence values with a differential mode impedance, a common mode impedance, and a plurality of single end impedances for a cable are associated with values which the three impedance elements can acquire; an impedance determination unit 13 for collating convergence values with each of the impedances measured by a measuring unit 10 of a TDR measuring instrument 1 with the list stored in the impedance table storage unit 14; a status determination unit 15 for determining the status of the three impedance elements from the collation result; and a cable status diagnosis unit 16 for performing a fault diagnosis of plural places of the cable from the determined status. |
