Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projection device capable of displaying a high quality image.SOLUTION: A projection device includes: an optical element 30 on which a lens array is formed by two-dimensionally arranging microlenses 31; and a light source that emits a laser beam projected onto the optical element 30. The laser beam projected onto the optical element 30 passes through the optical element 30 and is reflected by a partial reflection plate, and an image reflected by the partial reflection plate is visually observed. A width d of a boundary region 31a between the microlenses 31 is equal to or less than 2 μm.
