Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite magnet capable of suppressing discharge of particles or the like from the ferrite magnet, and a method for producing the ferrite magnet.SOLUTION: A ferrite magnet includes: a ferrite element assembly 10 comprising a plurality of ferrite particles 11; an impregnated phase 20 introduced between the ferrite particles 11 on a surface of the ferrite element assembly 10; and a final coating layer 30 formed on the outermost surface of the ferrite element assembly 10. The final coating layer 30 is in contact with both the ferrite particles 11 and the impregnated phase 20 at the boundary 40 between the impregnated phase 20 and the final coating layer 30.
