PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating cooker capable of safely and efficiently heating steam without excessively increasing a temperature of a heat source such as a heater.SOLUTION: A heating cooker includes a heating chamber 11 for housing and heating foods; a steam generator A for supplying steam to the heating chamber 11; and a water supply means for supplying water to the steam generator A. The steam generator A includes an evaporation heater 2a for evaporating water supplied from the water supply means; and a heater 2b arranged on the downstream side rather than the evaporation heater 2a in a flow path of steam in the steam generator A and for heating steam generated by heating of the evaporation heater 2a. At a cross-sectional area orthogonal to a flow direction of steam in an inside space of the steam generator A, a side of the heater 2b is narrower than a side of the steam heater 2a.
