Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mesh for a nebulizer which ensures a nebulized particle diameter reachable at alveoli by a nebulizer, increases a nebulization amount to improve a therapeutic effect, and also ensures safety and rigidity.SOLUTION: This invention is related to a method for manufacturing a mesh having a plurality of through-holes used for atomizing a liquid for a nebulizer for atomizing and ejecting the liquid, wherein a planar member composed mainly of platinum is irradiated with a laser for forming the plurality of through-holes having tapered-shaped cross section.
