Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear wheel steering device capable of reducing a burden acting on constitution for locking steering of a rear wheel, and capable of making the constitution compact.SOLUTION: A rear wheel steering device 11 includes a rear side rack shaft 40, a screw shaft portion 46 provided in the rear side rack shaft 40, a ball nut device 43, and a lock device 44. The ball nut device 43 includes a ball nut 52 screw-coupled to the screw shaft portion 46, and displaces the rear side rack shaft 40 in a longitudinal direction X, by changing a relative coupling position of the ball nut 52 to the screw shaft portion 46. The lock device 44 includes an engagement recess 68 formed in the ball nut 52, a guide recess 76 formed in the rear side rack shaft 40, and a fixing member 75 engaged with both the engagement recess 68 and the guide recess 76 to prohibit the displacement of the rear side rack shaft 40, when the rear side rack shaft 40 is located in a neutral position, and to prohibit thereby rotation of the ball nut 52.
