Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption when compared with a configuration where power is always supplied to an image processing unit for processing image data, while the power switch of an image processor is turned on.SOLUTION: In the image processor, either an image processing unit and/or an operation unit determines whether or not predetermined interruption conditions are satisfied, when a power supply unit is in a first power supply mode for supplying power to the image processing unit and operation unit. When a determination is made that the interruption conditions are satisfied, either the image processing unit and/or the operation unit performs interruption processing of switching the power supply unit to a second power supply mode for interrupting power supply to the image processing unit and supplying power to the operation unit.
