Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress or prevent an operational feeling of a rotating motion from being excessively light, or failure such as unintended rotating motion of a memo stand from occurring while securing operationality in sliding the memo stand body in a chair which can operate the memo stand body between a usage posture and a storage position using the rotating motion and a sliding motion.SOLUTION: The chair includes: a chair body; and a memo stand which causes the chair body to support the memo stand body through a memo stand holding mechanism. The memo stand holding mechanism can move the memo stand body between the usage posture and the storage posture using the rotating motion and a sliding motion of the memo stand body. A mechanism in charge of the rotating motion and a mechanism in charge of the sliding motion are provided independently, each other. The mechanism in charge of the rotating motion includes a friction imparting element M to impart friction resistance to the rotating motion. |
