Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display mechanism of an application, capable of reflecting a search result based on a query, to a retrieval result display object disposed on a screen when an instruction request object is selected by such a simple definition that a developer specifies a query corresponding to the instruction request object.SOLUTION: An application server is transmission means for storing a query for specifying a retrieval condition to a retrieval service as an action definition, acquiring the action definition by a request of a client device, acquiring a retrieval result from the retrieval service based on the query in the action definition, and transmitting the retrieval result to the client device as a processing result. The client device displays a screen on which a processing result display object is disposed, in accordance with the processing result transmitted from the application server.
