Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof cover that efficiently discharges, to the surroundings, cooling air which has been guided into a unit case of an inverter via a cooling fan while ensuring high waterproofness with a compact-sized structure.SOLUTION: An is configured such that a circuit part including a power semiconductor module is accommodated in a front case 2 of a unit case 1, a heat-dissipating fin of the power semiconductor module and a cooling fan 6 are arranged at a wind tunnel of a rear case 3, and cooling air which has been guided into the wind tunnel via the cooling fan 6 is discharged upward from the unit case. A waterproof cover 8 for the inverter device is attached to the top part of the unit case 1 as a resin molding, and a discharge path 8a which is open downward is formed on both left and right sides of the front part of the waterproof cover 8. An air discharge guide 8b is formed upright along an area that surrounds an air outlet of the cooling fan 6 at the rear of the inner part of the cover, and a discharge stream of the cooling air which has been discharged to the inside of the waterproof cover 8 via the cooling fan 6 is discharged to the surroundings through the discharge path 8a. |
