Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin steel strip plate and an endless steel strip that have high strength and high fatigue strength by controlling surface layer hardness, pearlite texture and residual stress in addition to increasing the content of C to a hypereutectoid level regarding a power transmission metal strip applied to a steel belt or the like of a mechanism for transmitting drive force or the like in an electrophotographic printer, a copying machine, a printer of a personal computer, or the like.SOLUTION: The thin steel strip plate and endless steel strip of high strength and high fatigue strength are regulated to comprise, by mass, 0.6-1.3% C, 0.1-1.50% Si, 0.1-1.5% Mn, at most 0.01% Al, and at most 0.01% Ti with a remaining portion consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities, and have a tensile strength of 1,500 MPa or more, an elongation of 2% or more, and a surface layer hardness of 400 HV 0.3 or more. |
