Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an undue force from being applied to a flexible substrate.SOLUTION: A display panel unit 150 comprises: a display panel 20 which includes in its peripheral part a terminal for supplying an image signal and displays an image; a circuit board 40 which is disposed along the edge of the display panel 20 where the terminal is located; a flexible substrate 50 which connects the terminal of the display panel 20 and the circuit board 40 and transmits the image signal from the circuit board 40 to the display panel 20; and an enclosure 60 which holds the circuit board 40 and the display panel 20. The circuit board 40 is disposed along the lower edge of the display panel 20. |
