Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress air bubbles and/or peeling from occurring near a protruding portion of a front transparent plate in the case of sticking together the front transparent plate and an image display panel through an adhesive layer.SOLUTION: The invention relates to an adhesive layer used for sticking together an image display panel and a front transparent plate having a protruding portion on the image display panel side thereof. The adhesive layer of the invention has a storage modulus at 23°C of 0.12 MPa to 1 MPa. The thickness of the adhesive layer is preferably 30 μm to 300 μm.
