PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidification apparatus for humidifying the inside of a dried room, the humidification apparatus which has high safety and eliminates inclusion and breeding of bacteria to a supply water, by reliably stopping a humidification action when a humidification operation is stopped, while preventing useless consumption of water, and also to provide the humidification apparatus capable of preventing a decrease of the efficiency of humidification by eliminating condensation of scale components of the supply water.SOLUTION: For achieving the purpose, this humidification apparatus includes: a water supply tank 7 for supplying water; a vaporization member 4 for evaporating the water supplied from the water supply tank 7; and a water supply means for supplying water to the vaporization member 4, by carrying a constant amount of water from the water supply tank 7 to the vaporization member 4. The water supply tank 7 is arranged at an upper part from the vaporization member 4, and a drain tank 8 is provided for storing a surplus water from the vaporization member 4. The drain tank 8 is arranged at a lower part of the vaporization member 4.
