Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically select and display an image in a mode suitable for the utilization condition of a user who views display of a moving image.SOLUTION: A camera 15 and an image processing device 100 are built in a device which contains a display part 10 capable of displaying three-dimentional moving images, and a user present in front of the display part 10 is imaged with the camera 15. The generated image is inputted in the image processing device 100, and a face of the user is detected from the image by a pre-processing part 102 and a face detection part 103. An image selection process part 104 estimates a utilization condition of the user by analyzing the characteristic of the detected face, and based on the estimation result, selects either a two-dimensional moving image or a three-dimentional moving image. The selection result is supplied to a video signal processing circuit 12, and the video signal of a selected moving image is outputted to the display part 10.
