Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of a landing doorway of an elevator which has a proximity regulating part extended to a side opposite to a hoistway from a support part arranged at the landing doorway so as to suppress entry of a third person to the landing doorway.SOLUTION: This safety device includes a support part 2 held at the landing doorway 33 of the elevator provided with a landing hall 30 having the landing doorway 33 opening to a hoistway 32 and a proximity regulating part 15 extended to a side opposite to the hoistway 32 from the support part 2, thus enabling suppression of intrusion of a third person to the landing doorway 33.
