Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To subdivide failure determination triggered by the multiplication of a modem IC and to further improve circuit configuration for effective functioning of the subdivision.SOLUTION: In an ATS-P code processing device, which is connected to each track antenna beacon 11 with an individual half duplex communication line to cut off power supply with a circuit 29 in failures of the track antenna beacon 11, which replies a normal answer telegraphic message A to a normal polling telegraphic messages P, and replies a received telegraphic message to a telegraphic message having a minor abnormality, but does not reply to a telegraphic message having abnormality of a middle extent. When a plurality of modem ICs 27 mounted with a transmitting part and a receiving part are introduced, and a group of the transmitting part and the receiving part are allocated individually to the half duplex communication lines and the track antenna beacon 11, the transmitting part and the receiving part of the same group are selected from other ones of modem ICs 27, the transmitting part and the receiving part of other group are selected from each modem IC and further a telegraphic message determining means 43 is allowed to determine whether the transmitting part and the receiving part in addition to the track antenna beacon 11 are normal or defective corresponding to the receiving condition of the loopback telegraphic message Q and an answer telegraphic message A.
