Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a greenhouse gas emission allowance acquisition system that can contribute to achieving a reduction target of a greenhouse gas emission allowance of makers of an image forming apparatus or consumables and can provide an image forming apparatus having superior environmental resistance at low cost for a user, and to provide the image forming apparatus using the system and a greenhouse gas emission allowance acquisition method.SOLUTION: The greenhouse gas emission allowance acquisition system for the image forming apparatus 1 includes: a memory unit 502 where product information of the image forming apparatus 1 and product information of an image forming apparatus having a reduced greenhouse gas emission allowance are stored; a printing number calculation unit that calculates a printing number by the image forming apparatus 1; a use status determination unit for the image forming apparatus that determines whether a calculated printing number approximates to the printing number that the makers guarantee; and an information notification unit that notifies to the image forming apparatus 1 use information of the image forming apparatus that the printing number approximates to the printing number the makers guarantee and the product information of the image forming apparatus having the reduced greenhouse gas emission. |
