PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric tape substrate that includes a tape substrate usable in the open air or the like, has high water resistance and durability, and is good in tearable properties, strength and followability to an irregular face.SOLUTION: A nonwoven fabric tape substrate comprises a synthetic filament nonwoven fabric that has a fiber diameter of 0.1 to 30 μm, an apparent density of 0.15 to 0.50 g/m, a basis weight of 15 to 150 g/m, tensile strength and breaking elongation along a lengthwise direction of 20 N/5 cm or more and 10% or more, respectively, and a partial thermocompression boding rate of 3 to 30%, and includes a compression bonding part in the shape of a line or a broken line perpendicular to the lengthwise direction and different from a part of the partial thermocompression bonding.
