PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelf closure cover for a showcase by which a shelf displaying goods such as nutritious drinks classified into non-prescription pharmaceuticals applying functions of a drawer type goods display shelf set in a refrigerator of the showcase can be closed by simple operation.SOLUTION: In the shelf closure cover 6 for closing a goods display shelf 5 displaying goods in a refrigerator, hooks 7 are set on a cover member surrounding the periphery area of the shelf to block off the visual field from the outside of the showcase. The hooks 7 are locked with a hook on the rear end of a slide shelf board 5b to hold the locking with a hook of the cover member on the shelf closure position. As the illustrative embodiment, the cover member is made to be a foldable screen board formed with three faces of a front face board 6a and right and left side face boards 6b. The cover member is raised along the periphery edge of the slide shelf board 5b, and then the hooks 7 are locked with a hook on the rear end of the slide shelf board 5b to close the shelf so that goods cannot be taken out from the shelf.
