Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moisture and thermal discoloring composition and a moisture and thermal discoloring indicator which eliminate the need for pulverization of a bismuth compound in preparing a discoloring composition and improve the problem of the bismuth compound settling over time.SOLUTION: A moisture and thermal discoloring composition contains a bismuth compound, a sulfur compound, a binder and an organic solvent, in which the bismuth compound is an organic bismuth compound of an organic solvent soluble type.
