Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tape printing apparatus that enables confirming a battery capacity, when a battery is set as a power supply for use, thereby eliminating the need for complex processing.SOLUTION: When a power switch is pressed while an external power supply is supplied, the apparatus is started up (step 101). Then, a power supply selection unit 45 detects whether the external power supply is a commercial power supply or a battery. When recognized to be the commercial power supply (step 102: B), the display is shifted to a character input screen (step 108). When recognized to be the battery (step 102: B), the display is controlled to detect whether a battery remaining capacity warning is displayed at a last time start-up (step 103). |
