Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a sheet fused body where the sheet fused body in which fused parts of respective sheets are arranged in a predetermined state and the arrangement of the fused parts is easy to be visually recognized and which gives soft touch feeling can be efficiently manufactured.SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the sheet fused body 5, the sheet fused body 5 is obtained by irradiating a sheet laminate body 1 formed by overlapping a plurality of the sheets with a laser beam 4 to fuse the sheets in the laminate body 1 to each other. The sheet fused body 5 is obtained so that fused parts 51 of the sheets are formed in patterns corresponding to formed patterns of through-holes 3a by making a pressing member 3 having a plurality of the through-holes 3a formed in a prescribed pattern abut on one side surface 1a of the sheet laminate body 1 and by irradiating the sheet laminate body 1 in this state from the pressing member 3 side with the laser beam 4 having a wavelength to be absorbed by the sheet 11 to heat the sheet 11.
