Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve credibility of data.SOLUTION: A NAND-Flash memory controller 10 measures a time required for deleting data stored in a NAND-Flash memory 20 and determines the data size of an error correction code according to the measured time. Then, the NAND-Flash memory controller 10 creates an error correction code in the determined data size and performs control to write the created error correction code to the NAND-Flash memory 20.
