Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which prevents strike-through of dye after printing, and improves image preservability after printing.SOLUTION: The thermal transfer image receiving sheet includes a base material, and an intermediate layer, a heat-insulating layer, and a receptive layer formed on the base material in this order. The intermediate layer contains acrylic resin having a specific glass transition temperature and acid value, and gelatin. The thermal transfer image receiving sheet prevents strike-through of the dye after printing and improves image preservability after printing.
