Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal driver, a liquid crystal display device or the like improving cross-talk caused by polarity inversion driving according to display contents.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal driver includes: a scan controller for inserting a dummy period within a common electrode scanning period of a liquid crystal display device; a common electrode driver for rendering common electrodes non-selective during the dummy period while scanning the common electrodes within the scanning period; a segment electrode driver for driving segment electrodes based on predetermined dummy data during the dummy period while driving the segment electrodes of the liquid crystal display device based on image data corresponding to the common electrodes scanned by the common electrode driver; and a polarity inversion controller for performing control so as to invert a voltage polarity between the common electrodes driven by the common electrode driver and the segment electrodes driven by the segment electrode driver for each predetermined number of polarity inversion line.
