Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deodorizing device highly efficiently removing volatile organic compounds from a waste gas containing various kinds of volatile organic compounds, and reducing in environmental loads, and to provide a deodorizing method.SOLUTION: The deodorizing device is a deodorizing device for the waste gas containing the volatile organic compounds, which includes an adsorption device removing by adsorption the volatile organic compounds in the waste gas and a washing device removing and washing the volatile organic compounds remained in the waste gas supplied from the adsorption device.
