Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an asphalt additive and an asphalt emulsion further improved in the required characteristics such as fluidity resistance and wear resistance, and to provide a method for production of an asphalt mixture using the additive.SOLUTION: The additive includes 60-80 pts.wt. of a base oil A based on a mineral oil, 2-12 pts.wt. of an additional oil B based on a vegetable oil, 2-10 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic elastomer C and 2-10 pts.wt. of an olefinic resin D, based on the total weight of the additive. The additive is used by charging into a heated straight asphalt 7.
